Surprise (maybe!), NESTS Kyo is coming to The King of Fighters XIII as a downloadable character. If you have the Xbox 360 version you can get the old school style fighter on December 20. A technical error knocked Kyo’s PS3 release back to January 10. Atlus plans on compensating for the delay by discounting NESTS Kyo down to $2.99 for a limited time.
The news comes with a few details about the online patch SNK Playmore is working on. SNK’s update will make connection evaluations (the colorful bars next to a player’s name) more accurate so you know what kind of latency to expect before a bout begins. The patch will also add ranked host-side filtering, which will allow hosts to avoid matches against players with a poor connection, and fix "rare" (but unspecified) glitches. A release date for the online patch has not been announced.
