March dropped some heavily anticipated titles in the US like Metroid Prime: Hunters, Mega Man Powered Up, Let’s Ride Dreamer*, Kingdom Hearts 2 and the Elder Scrolls Oblivion: IV. Only after a few days after its US release Kingdom Hearts 2 shipped 1.3 million copies to retailers. That’s a lot of copies of Sora’s adventure compared to Japan where it took three months to ship out 1.2 million copies. But the big winner of the month is the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. If you add up all the sales of the PC game, Xbox 360 version and the limited edition Bethesda Softwork’s cash cow sold a whopping 1.7 million copies.
