OneShot is an adventure/puzzle game where the solutions typically won’t be within the game’s world. They’ll have to look around on their own computer to find them.

OneShot will cause various things to change on your computer when it wishes to create some of its stranger solutions. It can add text files to the game’s folders, change the desktop background, and create several other effects that will place puzzle solutions somewhere other than in the game world. It will hint when these solutions exist outside the game, though.

OneShot takes place in a world where light no longer exists, and so Niko, a hero with a portable light bulb, wishes to fix that. This version of the game, which is expanded from its free RPG Maker version from a few years back, is set to release on Steam sometime this Summer.
