Some Assembly Required: Let’s Put Together Let’s Tap

Funny thing about Let’s Tap it’s the first game penguins can play, but penguins can’t set it up. You need opposable thumbs to build the tap boxes stuffed in the oversized Let’s Tap box.

Here is the compressed tap box and spacer. You really have to put this thing together.

There are even instructions on how to do this.

OK! I built the spacer now to squeeze it inside the box…

Tada! One completed Tap Box. Let’s Tap comes with two of these things, but Tap Runner supports four players. What do the other players use then Sega?

While the tap boxes seem silly they are actually necessary to play the game. Let’s Tap detects gentle vibrations when you tap the box. Let’s Tap doesn’t have work the same on a hardwood floor. Also, “noise” like people walking and shaking the ground a bit could disrupt your game if you place the remote on the floor.

So, on a more serious note, what do you do if you want to play Let’s Tap with four players? Grab cereal boxes.
