Someone Remade A PlayStation 2 Shooter For The Nintendo 3DS

D3 Publisher’s latest download title, @Simple DL series: @Simple DL Vol. 22 The Infantryman: Dogs of the Battlefield is a port of another of their older games, number 102 from the PlayStation 2 era of @Simple 2000 series, for the Nintendo 3DS.

The above trailer is from the original PlayStation 2 version, and as you can see from the updated 3DS screenshots below it’s looking to be roughly the same, but enhanced with better features such as a cleaned up minimap, health bars and the like on the portable. There’s minor touches that make things more interesting, such as weight restrictions on weapons you can take on missions. One thing we’re not quite sure of will be how the game controls.

@Simple DL Vol. 22: The Infantryman: Dogs of the Battlefield will go on sale on the 6th of November on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan.
