Sega revealed this weekend at their SXSW 2016 panel this weekend that their upcoming Nintendo 3DS title, Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice, will release on September 27, 2016. The upcoming action adventure platform game is being developed by the California-based Sanzaru Games, known for having worked on Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Sega is also hosting a Sonic the Hedgehog 25th Anniversary party on July 22 in San Diego, where we’ll get to see more of the future from the franchise.
