There’s a new Sonic Colors Ultimate trailer, and this video focuses on the Wisps. These are the colorful aliens Doctor Eggman happens to be kidnapping from their home planets as he builds his amusement park. Each one, when found by Sonic, offers a new ability. Which then also means that Wisp becomes available in past stages, offering access to new areas.
The Sonic Colors Ultimate Wisps trailer goes through each one. First, it describes the character’s special skill. Then, it shows how that can be applied in-game. Things begin with the speed boosting White Wisp, the first one you’ll meet. From there, people can see the Cyan Wisp and its laser ability, the ghostly Jade Wisp that can go through walls, the spiky Pink Wisp, the hovering Green Wisp, the Orange Wisp that turns Sonic into a rocket, the Blue Wisp that can switch things up, and the Yellow Wisp that turns him into a drill. The video ends by showing the Purple Wisp, which makes Sonic into a ravenous creature.
Sonic Colors Ultimate will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store on September 7, 2021. The original Sonic Colors games appeared on the Nintendo DS and Wii.
