Sonic The Hedgehog Games Becoming Apple TV Compatible

Originally, the Apple iOS versions of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic CD were only playable on Apple’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Now, all three games are getting updated so they can be compatible with the Apple TV.

 

Sonic the Hedgehog is immediately playable on Apple TVs. People who already own an Apple iOS version of the game can play it on the big screen for free. On March 24, 2016, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will work with Apple TVs. Finally, on March 31, 2016, Sonic CD will become compatible.

 

Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic CD are immediately available on iTunes for $2.99 each. Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 allow players to play as Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles. This version of Sonic the Hedgehog also has a Time Attack mode, where this Sonic the Hedgehog 2 offers a Boss Attack mode. The Apple iOS version of Sonic CD makes Tails playable after beating the game once and offers the North American and Japanese soundtracks.
