Sega announced it will release the Sonic the Hedgehog DJ Style Mosaic album before 2026 ends, giving us a second CD with nonstop mixes of 29 songs. It will appear worldwide on December 2, 2026. This follows the previous Party album that debuted back in June 2020. It will cost 2,800 yen (~$18).
As with the previous album, this is designed to feature cross-fade to create a non-stop music experience. So while there are individual tracks that you can listen to and enjoy individually, it is ideally designed to be played all at once. Tomoya Ohtani again also worked on the mixes.
Part of the notable element of this release is that there is one totally new song and two from SONIC MUSIC EXPERIENCE event. The new one is “Space Trip Steps …for Meteor Herd (Garage House Remix).” The ones that will be released via an album for the first time are “Doom Zone × Undefeatable (Mashup Remix)” and “I’m with you × Dreams Of An Absolution (Mashup Remix).”
