Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Costumes Inspired By The Original Design Appearing In Stores

While the Sonic the Hedgehog movie is delayed so Sonic can be redesigned, merchandise related to it has not been. People are reporting Halloween costumes inspired by Sonic’s look in the film are appearing on store shelves. Most notably, TreasureHuntingSonic found the child’s costume at Walmart for $19.97 and shared a picture on Instagram and Twitter. (Thanks, GoNintendo!)

While the initial report noted Walmart had it, other stores are also showing product listings for it. Party City is selling it for $34.99. Amazon has a product page for it as well.

For people who want to recreate the look of the original Sonic the Hedgehog movie design, there is also an option. A Sonic movie mask is also available. The elastic and latex mask is available for $49 through sites like Amazon.

The Sonic the Hedgehog movie will be released in February 2020.
