Sega announced the Sonic the Hedgehog Presents: The Chaotix Casefiles audio drama podcast earlier in January 2026, and Episode 0 is now available online. This covers the adventures of The Chaotix Detective Agency as they solve mysteries when not participating in the fight against Eggman. It is now available on services like Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, and YouTube.
After some exposition from Vector the Crocodile explaining the goal of The Chaotix Detective Agency and his work with Espio the Chameleon and Charmy Bee, a mystery presents itself. Sonic the Hedgehog comes in at this point of The Chaotix Casefiles audio drama podcast to check in, bringing up the group’s first case on the way. He called their attention to a delivered package, which turned out to have a Buzz Bomber inside. This sets in motion events that lead to a cliffhanger with Vector and Sonic thrown together again.
