Sony 2024 State of Play Will Feature 15 PS5 Games Like Stellar Blade

Sony announced that the next State of Play will take place on January 31, 2024 at 2pm PT/5pm ET/10pm GMT. The first State of Play of 2024 is set to feature over 15 new PS5 games, including extended looks at Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin.

The first State of Play in 2024 will feature looks at new games coming to the PS5 and PlayStation VR2 in 2024 and beyond. The company did not reveal what titles would be shown during the broadcast beyond Stellar Blade, which is slated for release in 2024, and Rise of the Ronin, which is set to release on March 22, 2024.

Although Sony did not revealed who will be in attendance, the company noted that the first broadcast in 2024 will have special guest appearances from “some of the most talented minds in gaming.” The stream is planned to run for over 40 minutes and will stream on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.

The previous State of Play in September 2023 featured games like Resident Evil 4 Remake, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Ghostrunner 2, Helldivers, Spider-Man 2, Tales of Arise, Honkai: Star Rail, Foamstars, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Sony recently released a trailer of games slated to be coming in 2024 which included clips of upcoming games like Dragon’s Dogma 2, Foamstars, Concord, Forever Skies, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, The Casting of Frank Stone, and Silent Hill 2. Most of the games shown either had a slated release date for the first quarter of 2024 or had not yet been given release dates.

Sony’s January 2024 State of Play will air on January 31, 2024 at at 2pm PT/5pm ET/10pm GMT.
