While The Last Guardian is nowhere in sight, Sony’s Japan Studio is working on neat projects like Rain, which was also announced at Gamescom. This creative PlayStation 3 title has players control an invisible boy who can only be seen when it rains. This unseen world is also affected by the weather, creatures and buildings vanish when the skies clear up. It’s a clever concept heighted by sleek artwork and a somber soundtrack.

Rain will be released as a PlayStation Network download for PlayStation 3.
