Sony quietly closes P-Kara in June

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan came up with the idea of P-Kara, a portable karaoke game for the PSP and released the title back in December ’06. P-Kara came bundled with a special set of headphones that has a microphone attached to it. Instead of bundling a fixed number of songs in P-Kara, Sony set up a download service where players can purchase songs and stream music. If you were one of the presumably few people who imported P-Kara download everything you want before June 30th when the online service ends.
