Sony opened orders for the Hatsune Miku version of its LinkBuds Fit limited edition earbuds set. They are only available through the direct storefront for $249.99. That includes the green version of the headphones, an acrylic earbuds display stand with the Vocaloid on it, and two models of the character to use in Gugenka’s HoloModels app on mobile devices.
In the case of the earbuds, there is nothing special or different from them. They are identical to the standard LinkBuds Fit green variant that is sold for $229.99 on its own. That includes a case, as usual, noise canceling options, Ambient Sound Mode, and Sound Connect app support. The earbuds alone can last for about five and a half hours on a single charge.
It’s the extra accessories in this set that bring in the Hatsune Miku element, with the acrylic stand in particular featuring art of her wearing the LinkBuds Fit earbuds. The base of that has a spot that can hold the headphones and case. As for the HoloModels, the two you get with this bundle do need that Gugenka Android and iOS AR app to use. When you do, you can also hear her sing “Believe Day.”
