Games in the Megaten series are notorious for being difficult, but Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers will be a bit more user friendly than it was on the Sega Saturn. Atlus added a "COMP Hack" feature that lets players change difficulty setting on the fly. New to Megaten? You can lower it. Beat Shin Megami Tensei II with Angel’s blindfold? You can crank it up.
The COMP Hack menu also has options for auto mapping and and a devil analysis hack.
Speaking of demons, Nemecchi is a new to Soul Hackers. Players can power this creature up via Streetpass tags.
Soul Hackers also has full voice acting (and an option to turn voices off, if you prefer), shorter loading times, and a new anime opening from Satelight. Look for it and the first trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV on August 30 if you have a Japan region Nintendo 3DS.
