Hope you like sword fighters, because SoulCalibur VI is getting another one of those. Bandai Namco just dropped a trailer and release date for the next Season Pass 2 character. SoulCalibur VI Hwang DLC will debut on December 2, 2020. That’s also the same day Character Creation Set F, another collection of customization parts for original characters, will appear.
Hwang has the distinction of being one of those fighters who occasionally appears in the series, even though he’s been around since Soul Edge appeared in 1996. So while he’s missed a few entries lately, like SoulCalibur IV and V, he’s finally coming back.
Bandai Namco shared a SoulCalibur VI Hwang launch trailer, to help remind people what this swordfighter is like and how he might compare to the other people using swords in the game. Appropriately enough, Seong Mi-na is there too.
There will be two ways to get the SoulCalibur VI Hwang DLC and next round of Character Creation Set F parts. You can buy them separately. The Character Creation Set add-ons tend to be between $3.99 and $5.99, while new characters are $5.99 each. You can also get him in the $33.99 Season Pass 2, which also includes Hilde, Haohmaru, and Setsuka.
SoulCalibur VI is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
