Soulcalibur V Will Be Delisted

Here’s Bandai Namco’s official announcement.

While Soulcalibur V is being delisted, it’s likely that the game and all the DLC will remain available to download for those of us who have already purchased it. This means that anyone wishing to own it should buy it between now and June 19, 2023. Players who own the disc-based physical version will also continue to be able to play the game as usual.

However, online play is likely be shut down. The Global Colosseum mode had previously been closed prior to the release of Soulcalibur VI, although other modes had remained available until now.

Soulcalibur V released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012. While it had remained active since its release, its delisting now is likely due to its age and it only being available on older systems. Soulcalibur VI was released in 2018 and has since passed 2 million sales. It will remain available.

Soulcalibur V is currently available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 but will be delisted on June 19, 2023. Soulcalibur VI is available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
