Cervantes, one of Soulcalibur VI’s worst kept secrets, has found his way into the spotlight again. After an event in Melbourne accidentally used a build with both he unconfirmed Cervantes and Raphael in it, a new trailer was released by Bandai Namco, then pulled. However, people online saved it and reuploaded it. (Thanks, Rooflemonger!)
The Cervantes Soulcalibur VI trailer proceeds as someone would expect. It starts by introducing him as “The Shell of a Proud Man,” confirming that his weapons are Acheron & Nirvana, and noting his fighting style is Memories of Soul Edge.
This is not the first time Bandai Namco has prematurely released a Soulcalibur VI character trailer. The same thing happened to Taki back in May 2018.
SoulCalibur VI will appear on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19, 2018. In case you missed it, Motohiro Okubo one mentioned this could be the last entry in the series.
