Earlier today I was at Disneyland where Disney Interactive held the world premiere of Spectrobes. To celebrate the event a group of forth graders from Gauer Elementary school came by to try out the game a few weeks before it hit store shelves. On top of missing a day of school and hanging out in Disneyland they got to meet Jason Dolley from Corey in the House (?) and each of them got a gift pack with a Nintendo DS and an advanced copy of the game. The kicker is that this was all part of a class, after rushing to stations to try the game out the students had a lecture somewhere else in the park. Best elementary school ever? Past the break are some pictures and check back later today for details about Spectrobes straight from the producer, Kentaro Hisai.
Kentaro Hisai, the producer of the game, explaining what Spectrobes is to the Elementary School students.
Every RPG game needs mascot character hats and at the event some people were wearing these Spectrobes hats.
