Way of the Samurai Online was announced at Tokyo Game Show… 2005, so we’re not surprised that it got the axe. However, some ideas from the game probably found their way into Way of the Samurai 4, which has online invaders. That title is so far only for PlayStation 3.

Way of the Samurai 3 was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 a few months after the PS3 version in Japan. Way of the Samurai 4 has not been announced for release outside of Japan at this time.
