The latest Spirit Hunter game from Experience has made its North American debut. People can now pick Spirit Hunter: NG up on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC outside of Japan. To help celebrate the launch, Aksys has released a video offering insight into the first case people will be investigating while trying to save Akira Kijima and his sister from spirits.
The Urashima Woman was previously revealed in an Aksys blog entry. She is inspired by the Urashimako legend about a fisherman named Urashima Taro. He rescued a turtle that turned out to be the daughter of the emperor of the sea. When he went to visit their palace for three days, it turned out he was gone from the real world for 300 years. When he opened a present the princess gave him, which she said he shouldn’t open, he immediately aged. In Spirit Hunter: NG, the spirit woman is haunting the Yamato Shrine’s Urashima Lake, and Akira has to deal with her alongside Kaoru Hazuki.
Here is the video of the first Spirit Hunter: NG ghost.
Spirit Hunter: NG is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. It is available on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan.
