Splatoon 2 Splatfest Art Has Pearl and Marina Playing With Their Food (Again)

    You mayo not realize it, but it’s already almost time to ketchup with the actual final Splatoon 2 Splatfest. The last challenge will be held May 22-24, 2020. That’s when people will once again fight to determine whether mayonnaise or ketchup is the best. Also, as usual, Nintendo is celebrating with Splatoon 2 Splatfest art to commemorate the occasion on Twitter.

    The return of the mayonnaise versus ketchup Splatfest has resulted in an image that reminds people which member of Off the Hook supports each condiment and also offers a nod to how things will look the day of the event. Pearl likes mayo on everything, while Marina likes ketchup. Depending on the side you choose, you’ll be shooting either off-white or red paint at your opponents.

    While the original Splatoon 2 Splatfest art for the mayonnaise and ketchup event did have the two performers playing with their food, it was far more subtle.

    When Splatfests were a regular thing, so were regularly released pieces of Splatfest art. For example, here are a few of the past designs:
