Splatoon 2 revealed its upcoming amiibo figures of the pop idol duo Off the Hook members Pearl and Marina back in February. It’ll release a week from today, and Nintendo revealed its bonuses.
While the amiibo figures of Pearl and Marina are based on their original outfits, they’ll unlock Pearl and Marina’s new outfits from the Octo Expansion as new gear you can equip. 
As an extra bonus, it’ll also let you take pictures with the two for some pretty fresh screenshots. 
These picture sessions are normally on the grounds of Inkopolis Square, but during festivals you’ll get to take pictures with Pearl and Marina on top of the stage and check out the area from a different view. Splatoon 2 is available on the Nintendo Switch. The Pearl and Marina amiibo figures release on July 13, 2018.
