Recently Square-Enix passed over some details about what they have planned for the rest of the summer. Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII is first on the list. The game’s release date has been changed from August 22nd. Square-Enix bumped the release date up a week to August 15th. Next up is Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (known as Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 2 in Japan) for the Nintendo DS set for a release on September 19th. Rocket Slime is an entertaining adventure game with a creative cannon battle system. Lastly, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria jumps up two months in the schedule. Instead of being released in November, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria is going to come out on September 26th. What is missing on the list is Final Fantasy III DS. Originally the game was slated for a release in September, but the game went unmentioned in Square-Enix’s release information. Could the game be delayed? Maybe, but the Japanese release is still on schedule for next month.
