Earlier this week, we learned Shouzo Kaga’s Vestaria Saga is getting an English release in 2019. Now, it turns out the program used to make that game is appearing in English quite soon as well. SRPG Studio will launch on August 20, 2018, and a demo is immediately available on Steam.

As mentioned back in 2015, SRPG Studio is software from SapphireSoft that is similar to RPG Maker. It allows you to create your own strategic-RPGs. You can use the included materials or original graphics, songs, fonts, and videos. It uses JavaScript, in case you want to build your own systems. The interface will be available in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, French, and Spanish. It is also going to be compatible with Steam Workshop.

It has already been confirmed that Desert Background and Snow Background add-ons will be available after the game launches. Each one includes 10 extra background files.

SRPG Studio will come to the PC on August 20, 2018. It is immediately available in Japan.
