SRPGs on cell phones? Stella Deus goes mobile

Atlus’ underrated and underappreciated Playstation 2 strategy RPG, Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity, is taking a leap to mobile phones. Stella Deus: Jet Black Soul has an original story with graphics that are almost up to par with the PS2 release.  Unfortunately, Stella Deus: Jet Black Soul is for Japan only. Most mobile phone games in North America lack depth, they keep you entertained for a couple of minutes like a distraction. Sure you can’t put an epic RPG on a cell phone, but strategy RPGs would work out well. You don’t have to have jaw dropping graphics or a powerful phone processing tons of polygonal objects flying on the screen. All you need is an auto save feature, a clever story and a decent battle system. It’s the type of game you can play in little breaks and stop in the midst of battle when the boss is walking around. If you had to pick one SRPG series to appear on mobile phones which one would you choose?
