At the end of the Azur Lane Japanese 4th Anniversary stream, Yostar revealed that the mobile game will have a new collaboration with SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon. It announced the crossover by showing a monitor that suddenly displays Gridman, followed by logos of the three aforementioned titles.

Azur Lane is a shipgirl collection mobile game with shooting gameplay mechanics. It has previously collaborated with many other well-known franchises like The Idolmaster and Dead or Alive Xtreme.

In most cases, the mobile game saw additions of heroines from the aforementioned franchises as playable characters with shipgirl riggings. However, there was an exception when it had a collaboration with Armored Trooper Votoms. Manjuu and Yongshi simply added the Marshy Dog as a rideable mech in the shipgirls’ customizable dorm room.

Tsuburaya’s Gridman universe has been well-known for its popular title heroines, such as SSSS.Gridman‘s Rikka Takarada and SSSS.Dynazenon‘s Yume Minami. SSSS.Gridman is also slated to appear in Bandai Namco’s upcoming crossover game, Super Robot Wars 30.

As of this writing, there are no further details regarding the new crossover content that will appear in Azur Lane. It is yet to be known whether this collaboration will appear in the English global client as well or not.

SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon collaboration content will appear in the Android and iOS mobile game Azur Lane. Yostar will announce more details on this crossover at a later date.
