If you are at all into StarCraft 2’s pro circuit then SC2VN (StarCraft 2 Visual Novel) is probably going to be worth checking out.
It’s a visual novel that has you playing as a foreign semi-pro called Mach who’s trying to get into the top tiers of the eSport while staying in Korea.
The idea is to meet StarCraft 2 pros and other top players in order to form your own team that can compete with the best. Doing this requires you to make friends as part of the game’s notion that “success in StarCraft takes more than in-game strategy.”
You don’t need a working knowledge of StarCraft 2 or eSports to enjoy SC2VN but having it will probably mean you get more out of it. It’s available to download for free for Windows, Mac, and Linux on itch.io.
