People eagerly anticipating farming with friends will be happy to know a game is one step closer to that goal. Stardew Valley’s multiplayer update has entered the quality assurance testing phase. Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone said on Twitter that the process had begin and “bugs are being fixed at a very good pace!”
In addition to the QA phase confirmation, Barone offered some other teases of things to come. He reaffirmed that the update does include single player content, describing multiplayer as a layer on top of the single player experience. A picture was shared of a new cosmetic option being added. Horses will be able to wear hats after this Stardew Valley update. One picture of a horse in a sombrero was shown. The sombrero hat for humans is sold for $1,000 by the abandoned house mouse after someone earns $10,000,000.
Stardew Valley is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is in development for the PlayStation Vita, but this handheld version will not receive this multiplayer update.
