Starz plays with video game TV

While the whole video game and technology TV concept didn’t work out well for G4, the movie oriented channel Starz is going to give it a shot. They are going to start showing “GamerTV” a half-hour series about video games on Starz Edge. The first episode premieres this weekend on June 24th at 11:00 AM (EST/PST). Episode one talks about the Playstation 3 launch and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. They aren’t stopping with content syndication. Later on Starz Edge will showcase original documentaries on the making of Dragon Quest and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe later this year.
