Steins;Gate Elite’s Nintendo Switch version includes a bonus Famicom-style Steins;Gate that lets you explore its story in an 8-bit Akihabara. Here’s a new trailer for the retro bonus game.

Company president Chiyomaru Shikura previously shared his excitement about the bonus game with an earlier trailer that he got scolded for focusing on too much, and even went as far as making an actual cartridge for the game that runs on the Famicom. The pre-order bonus of the Famicom-style Steins;Gate will be digital-only.

Steins;Gate Elite releases in Japan on September 20, 2018 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. The game releases outside Japan in 2019.
