Shift Up announced we’ll get a chance to see how Stellar Blade runs on the Switch 2 for the first time at the 2026 Tokyo Game Show. This comes after a confirmation the game will be featured in the partners section of the Atlus and Sega booth at the event. It will give us a chance to compare how it runs on the console compared to the PS5 and PC releases.
The reveal essentially went over all of the Stellar Blade Switch 2 plans for TGS 2026. Six demo stations will be available at the event. However, we don’t know how long those trials will be or what they’ll entail. There will be a stage show with Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung Tae on September 20, 2026 at the event that will also be streamed on YouTube. This could mean we’ll learn the release date for this version of the game at the event.
This TGS 2026 news comes after another teaser for this version of the game. Shift Up shared a Stellar Blade Complete Edition Switch 2 trailer earlier in August 2026. It essentially confirmed the base game and every content upgrade released since launch will be in that version and showed how it looked. While some costumes and additions were free, things like the crossover add-ons tied to NieR: Automata and Goddess of Victory: NIKKE each cost $9.99 back when those appeared on the PS5 and PC.
Stellar Blade Complete Edition will come to the Switch 2 in 2026 and the original game is on the PS5 and PC. Tokyo Game Show 2026 will run September 17-21, 2026 at the Makuhari Messe in Japan.
