Stick Ranger Is A Party-Style RPG For Lazy People

Stick Ranger is a party-style RPG made for people who don’t really want to do much work. The concept of Dan-Ball’s game is simple—progress through levels by getting from point A to point B and killing everything that stands in your way. The map is 2-D and the levels are small, so the game moves along quickly.

Players start out by selecting their party. Four stickmen may join the party, and there are eight character classes to choose from. Some are ranged fighters, some are magic users, and some are warrior-types. After your party of four is selected, the adventuring begins.

There is an over world with different stages. After you pick a stage, a series of levels will begin. Your party will move by itself through each level, chopping down and shooting up all enemy minions that stand in there way, until they eventually reach a boss and move onto the next stage. Players of Stick Ranger will be able to pick up and move the party members to new locations if they want. This can be useful if one member is low and health and you want to get him out of the way.

Players can also choose the equipment that their party members have. Loot can be obtained by killing enemies or by purchasing things in shops. Choosing which equipment you use can go a long way, as it modifies damage in big ways.

Another way players can increase there party’s power is by leveling them up. Killing bad guys gives you XP, which can be used to increase stats such as Dexterity, Strength, Magic, and Life Points.

While you do a lot of sitting back and watching the action unfold, the game is pretty fun. The 2-D, stickman graphics make it entertaining, and being able to level up, choose party members and weapons, and fling your little heroes around the screen makes the game worth playing.

Stick Ranger is currently available on iOS and PC.
