Japanese Sega Mega Drive title Battle Golfer Yui has received a fan translation, letting English speakers tackle the golfing cyborgs of the evil Professor G in this golf/adventure/RPG hybrid.
Professor G intends to take over the world with a golf tournament, and kidnaps Yui and Ran to help make that happen. Yui manages to escape his clutches, though, and fights back at the villain in order to save her friend, doing so by beating the Professor’s golfing machines at their own tournament.
Battle Golfer Yui features tense cutscenes that tell its goofy story, as well as handy magic abilities that will make the golfing aspects a little easier. The golfing cyborgs have their own powers as well, though, which players will need to be cautious of.
