The latest Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town trailer lets viewers get a little more acquainted with the activities they will be able to participate in the upcoming farming simulator. This includes a better look at how repairing buildings will function, overall quality of life changes to farming, and other activities. Yes, this includes dog racing. [Thanks, Dengeki!]
Players will have total control over how they choose to decorate and build their farms. This includes creating paths and fences. Additionally, the quality of life features include the ability to cut down several trees at a time. Activities players can participate in include fishing and dog racing. A short clip of the dog racing mini-game is featured in the trailer, which shows the player mashing a button to encourage their dog to cross the finish line.
Similar to previous Story of Seasons titles, Pioneers of Olive Town will allow players to forge relationships with the townspeople of Olive Town. Players can get married to a candidate of their choosing, as long as they provide the right gifts.
