Natural Doctrine, the first in-house game from Kadokawa Games, is a strategy RPG. You can command units using a standard top down viewpoint or select an over the shoulder camera. Why are there two perspectives? The overhead view lets you see all of the friendly and enemy units on the map, but you can’t see the line of fire. A unit may be blocking with a shield which would render an attack ineffective. That’s where the TPS perspective comes in handy.
Famitsu also introduced two more characters in Natural Doctrine. Mel (left) looks like a young girl, but she has the ability to control golems. Sieglinde is a hardened an experienced warrior.
Natural Doctrine comes out for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4 on February 22, 2014.
