He announced he is full-time with Kinotrope back on January 19, 2024. At that same time, he announced he would move to Japan in April 2024. As such, we might not see his return until sometime after April 2024 or even May 2024.

Here are the full statements from rpr discussing the indefinite hiatus from streaming, which he posted on social media:

With that being said I think I will be taking a break from the internet until I am moved to Japan. I feel like recently I have been losing more of myself than I have been gaining from this whole thing, I think after 5 years it might be time for an indefinite hiatus.

It’s time to seriously look up to my oshis and search for my own happiness.

Goodbye everyone, I wish nothing but the best for you beautiful people until the end, until we meet again…. I slumber.

To the people I have moded in my channel, I don’t say it enough but thank you so much for being the amazing and beautiful human beings. I really have chosen the best of the best for my mod team, you all deserve the utmost respect you can get.

Even though I will be taking a break for a bit I do wanna say I am so excited to work in esports, it’s been one of my childhood dreams, and one of the reasons I am taking this break is so I can head into this with perfect mental both for my esports job and my stream.

Prior to the announcement, he talked a bit about Hololive and the Super Expo 2024 and 5th Fes concerts. He specifically referenced how talented Tokoyami Towa, Hoshimachi Suisei, IRyS, and Nanashi Mumei are.

One of the last streams rpr appeared in as a Vtuber before taking a break was a Lethal Company one. He played alongside Dokibird, Uto, and dtto.
