Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade Will Be Playable at JAEPO2023

Taito will offer a playable build of the arcade version of Street Fighter 6 at JAEPO 2023. Formally titled Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade, this Japan-only version will be available to play for people attending JAEPO 2023 (Japan Amusement Expo 2023) on February 10 and 11, 2023. The expo will be held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition in Chiba, and the cabinet will be available in the Hall 9, A-2, Taito booths section of the convention center. Japanese Street Fighter professional players Kazunoko and Dogura will be assisting the event as special guests and will play live on stage. The playable version available at the event is a build still in development, and because of this, Taito warns players that some features might be different from the final release of the game. Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade doesn’t have an official release date yet, but its console version sibling is scheduled to release on June 2, 2023.

Capcom has been sharing some Street Fighter 6 matches to promote the game. These include matches between classic characters like Dee Jay & Dhalsim, and newcomers Marisa & Manon.

Street Fighter 6 will release for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and PC on June 2, 2023. Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade is being developed by Taito, and it will release sometime in 2023.
