Street Fighter V Is "Just The First Step" Of The Next Generation Of Street Fighter

Street Fighter V will be released exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will have cross platform multiplayer, but this won’t be the only Street Fighter title in the works for next generation. Sony Computer Entertainment also announced a port of Ultra Street Fighter IV for PlayStation 4.

In a Street Fighter V press release, Matt Dahlgreen, Capcom’s Associate Director of Brand Marketing and eSports, said  “Throughout all of our discussions with Sony Computer Entertainment, it is clear that we share a mutual belief that the fighting genre has a huge opportunity for growth. The announcement today is just the first step, of many, in creating the next generation Street Fighter experience our fans have been asking for.”
