Subtitled One Piece Unlimited Cruise: The Treasure Beneath The Waves Docks In Europe

Maybe I should have said “docked” because Namco Bandai shipped One Piece Unlimited Cruise: The Treasure Beneath the Waves in PAL territories weeks ago. (Thanks for the tip Justin!!) The Wii game got a quiet, almost stealth release outside Japan.

One Piece Unlimited Cruise: The Treasure Beneath the Waves is a localized version of One Piece Unlimited Cruise Episode 1, which came out in Japan last September.

Unlike other One Piece games Namco Bandai didn’t dub the voices. All of the cutscenes are in Japanese with subtitles. Namco Bandai is treating Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo the same way. Perhaps, subtitled anime games are going to be a new trend for Namco Bandai.

Right now Namco Bandai Games America has not announced any plans to publish One Piece Unlimited Cruise. Now that an English version is out we’ll see if we can find out about a domestic release.
