Suikoden 25th Anniversary Symphonic Concert To Be Performed Online

Japan Game Music Orchestra (JAGMO) will hold orchestra performances of tracks from Konami’s Suikoden series in April 2021. A different Suikoden online concert will be held every Sunday throughout the month. Each show will have a different set list that focuses on several key characters in the series. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

While an orchestra concert dedicated to Suikoden II was held in November 2018, these concerts will also include tracks from other titles in the series. Although JAGMO had held these concerts offline in Tokyo from October to December 2020, it decided to make online performances after receiving a lot of requests.

The concerts will be held every Sunday at 20:30 JST (07:30 AM ET). Those who purchase tickets before the live streams begin can also watch the archived versions. The concerts will be archived for two weeks after the concert dates.

  • April 4, 2021 – for the 108 Stars of Destiny – featuring episodes of Leknaat, Luca Blight, and Viktor
  • April 11, 2021 – Episode of Jowy – also featuring episodes of Gremio and Flik
  • April 18, 2021 – Chamber Orchestra of Suikoden
  • April 25, 2021 – Episode of Luc – also featuring episodes of Ted and the McDohl family

JAGMO will stream the online concerts on Thumva. The platform allows users to watch the concert streams through Google Chrome on PCs or a dedicated app on Android and iOS smartphones. However, it does not officially support views from outside Japan or tablet devices.

These online concerts primarily include performances of tracks from the mainline Suikoden series, spanning five numbered games that released on the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 from 1995 to 2006.
