Konami laid out the order in which Suikoden Star Leap will come out on various platforms in Japan. The company also apologized for not being able to give a precise release date for everyone looking forward to it. The short of it is, we’ll see it on Android and iOS mobile devices before it appearing everywhere else.

This is the order that Suikoden Star Leap will come out on platforms. There are no exact release windows for any of them.

  1. iOS/Android (within Japan)
  2. iOS/Android (all countries except Japan)
  3. Steam (all countries including Japan)

Some countries and regions will not have access to the game even when the global iOS/Android and Steam releases happen. Konami did not list which ones were, but it will probably do so later on.

In the statement on the social media post, Konami explains that Suikoden Star Leap will be a new story in the franchise, taking place on a vast land and set in a long history. It is doing its best to breathe life into all the characters living in this world that it’s depicting and organize them into one story. Since it wants players to get a smooth experience that best fits their location and device as they explore the world, Konami decided on this release order so that the digital infrastructure could be adjusted properly.

Suikoden Leap will come out on mobile devices and Windows PC via Steam. Konami states that the entire development team is working hard so that they can give the release date as quickly as possible.
