GameTomo’s Sumire is now available on the Switch and PC. In this 2D adventure, people follow a young girl in mourning and playing things safe after tragic losses. However, a dream of her deceased grandmother sets a new adventure in motion. She has a new goal to live a perfect day and, if she does, she might get to see her again.
Sumire is an adventure game with multiple choices. Once Sumire leaves her house with her flower companion, her goal is to gradually tick boxes on her to-do list, interacting with other people (and both plants and animals). There is a karma system in play and time passes. You choose who Sumire interacts with and how she responds. Getting certain quests done in time or meeting with different people can alter the ending you see.
Here’s a trailer looking at some of the activities Sumire can engage in during her day. It also showcases the TOW soundtrack.
With the Switch Sumire release, there is only one option available. You can get the game for $14.99. However, the PC version on Steam is available alone or in a complete bundle that includes a copy of Sumire, a digital art book, and its soundtrack. A 10% discount is in effect until June 2, 2021 that makes the game $13.49 on both platforms.
