We were starting to wonder what happened to Summer Lesson’s blonde girl since her E3 2015 reveal, but we now know she’s headed to Japan in her own title. Here’s more from this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Hachima.]
In Summer Lesson: Alison Snow Garden of Seven Days, we’ll be introduced to the new character named Alison. It is set on the porch of a Japanese-style house. Similar to the Summer Lesson featuring Hikari Miyamoto, there will be DLC featuring different situations and more to enjoy with Alison after the release of the game.
There will also be a “Deluxe Version” that features all the DLC planned for after its release. It includes the following:
- Summer Lesson: Alison Snow “International Exchange on the Porch”
- Summer Lesson: Alison Snow “The Singing Voice of the Summer Sky”
- Summer Lesson: Alison Snow “Extra Scene: Support Volume”
- Summer Lesson: Alison Snow “Extra Scene: Watermelon Splitting”
Alison’s part of Summer Lesson will have some connection to Hikari Miyamoto’s part. For one, the teacher (you) is the same person. If you have save data with a good record from Hikari’s version, you can get a “Topic Item” depending on your play situation.
Additionally, if you’ve purchased the retail version of the Hikari version of Summer Lesson (with all DLCs) or for example the “Cafe Volume” DLC with HIkari-chan, you’ll get to start out Alison’s story with the cafe maid costume right off the bat.
And finally, Bandai Namco says they have no plans to finish Summer Lesson with Alison’s volume. They’re planning on making new content for the future as well.
Summer Lesson: Alison Snow Garden of Seven Days releases in Japan for PlayStation 4 on June 22, 2017.
