Final Fantasy XI has a new kind of magic called “trust” that let’s players summon NPC characters to fight by their side. The list of characters includes Shantotto who uses offensive magic, Joachim from the Abyssea quests, and Trion to absorb damage. Players can use Trust magic when they’re solo and you can have up to three alter ego NPCs with you. Add your Adventuring Fellow to the group and you have an AI party.

Also in February, Square Enix will release Relic Armor for the Geomancer and Rune Fencer classes. Players will also be able to get faces including Prishe and Ulmia from the Chains of Promathia expansion.
