Back in 2015, Harmonix and Tilting Point brought Beat Sports, a sports game where you needed to keep time with the music and rhythm to succeed, to the Apple TV. Now, an updated and upgraded version called Super Beat Sports will be released on the Nintendo Switch.

The original Beat Sports had four games in it and required people to download the Beat Sports Remote Apple iOS app to play Buddy Ball with four players. Super Beat Sports features five games with solo and four player local multiplayer support. It can use the Pro Controller or Joy-Cons, which can be used vertically or horizontally, both in docked or handheld modes. HD Rumble support will be present too. The screenshots released so far show Buddy Ball, Gobble Golf, Net Ball, Rhythm Racket, and Whacky Bat, as well as a Throwbot. This version will also include new character costumes and songs.
