Super Bomberman R Online Battle Royale Heading to Consoles and PCs

Super Bomberman R Online, the battle royale game that debuted on Google Stadia, is heading to more platforms in 2021. Konami announced Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC ports. Which also means it will be available on the PS5 or Xbox Series X. An exact release date wasn’t available, but the free-to-play game will appear “soon.”

The base version of Super Bomberman R Online is available for free and lets people into up to 64 person battle royales. You have only eight characters available, but can earn customization items. You can also join open and private games. However, to get the crossover character DLC and the ability to make private matches, you do have to buy the $9.99 Premium Pack.

As a reminder of how it works and looks, here’s the Stadia launch trailer looking at battle royale. Since this does build on the Super Bomberman R game already available on consoles and computers, it and its Premium Pack Bombers should look familiar.

Super Bomberman R Online is immediately available on Stadia and will appear on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC soon. Super Bomberman R is available for the Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
