Back in March 2018, we learned Super Bomberman R was heading to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with each version getting an exclusive character. Now, Konami has a new update. The original voice actors for Master Chief and Ratchet will show up to voice Master Chief Bomber and Ratchet & Clank Bomber. In addition, the Nintendo Switch version will get Bomberman’s longtime ally, Max.

Let’s start with the Ratchet & Clank Bomber. James Arnold Taylor has voiced Ratchet since Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, which appeared on the PlayStation 2 in 2003. David Kaye has been Clank even longer, starting with the first Ratchet & Clank on the PlayStation 2 in 2002. Both reprised their roles in the 2016 movie and will return for Super Bomberman R on the PlayStation 4.

The Master Chief Bomber is Steve Downes. He started his run as Master Chief back in Halo: Combat Evolved on the Xbox in 2001. He has maintained the role even through the Halo: The Fall of Reach mini-series.

Max Bomber, the Nintendo Switch exclusive character, first appeared in Bomberman Max. He’s a Phantarion Bomber who often acts as Bomberman’s ally and rival. He is known for his love of justice, and Super Bomberman R will mark his sixth Bomberman game appearance.

Super Bomberman R is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch. It will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 12, 2018 and to the PC on June 13, 2018.
