Super Daryl Deluxe offers players a wild, ridiculous ride through high school life, placing them in the shoes of a new student at a school whose classrooms are crumbling into other realities, taking players on a brawling, action RPG-like adventure as they strive to save their fellow students and become the most popular kid in school.
Super Daryl Deluxe offers an array of monster-filled classes for players to attend, crossing deserts lined with angry cacti, mansions filled with supernatural beasts, or riffs on Donkey Kong in red girder-lined halls. Each area is designed to be silly, with some equally goofy enemies within, offering players a constant barrage of lighthearted, but strikingly animated, situations.
As Daryl deals with the creatures giving his classmates trouble, he’ll gain experience and level up, gaining forty different skills that vastly change the gangly teenager’s combat abilities. While fighting, players should also be on the lookout for secret passages or other teens with sidequests to give, as each offer some new tools that will make Daryl’s academic life a bit easier.
